We are continually discovering new things in the scientific arena that we believed to be certain in decades gone by. Once we discovered that objects that have mass also have a gravitational force we did not stop there we have continued to push out the boundaries to investigate the same force is differing places , e.g. does gravitational forces behave the same way on Earth as the do near or in a black holes for example (btw I have no idea but I’m pretty certain people have investigated it).
This graphic below shows how during C-19 two differing camps have evolved during lockdown (in princepal not a bad thing as one side would be a check on the other assuming that the other side hears you in good faith) and we have seen less science and more emotionally charged arguments such as “you want old people to die”.
