This picture above sums up neatly what has been happening in many US cities. When protests turn violent and local ma and pop shops are burnt down or go out of business this in turn makes the larger stores even larger. People will be turned away from going to the shops due to all the rules for C-19 , the shops may not even exist if looters and rioters have made the insurance on those properties exorbitant making them no no longer financial viable.
Meanwhile we have companies the likes of Amazon being able to absorb all these regulations the government imposes as they have much larger operations over which to spread these costs. The protestors want to bring down the likes of the Amazon and Walmart but are in fact making them larger and powerful – so much for “Down with Capitalism”.
